Fixed-Float.exchange is an independent, reader-focused guide to the FixedFloat instant crypto exchange and to safe crypto swapping in general. We are not FixedFloat, and we don't pretend to be. Our job is to explain how these tools really work, in plain English, with the security skepticism the subject deserves.

Who we are
We're a small team of crypto users who've been around since the cycles when "not your keys, not your coins" was learned the hard way. We've used instant exchanges, centralized platforms, hardware wallets and DEXs across multiple market cycles — and watched plenty of platforms fail. That experience shapes our editorial stance: useful, honest, and allergic to hype.
Our editorial principles
- Independence. We are not affiliated with, endorsed by, or operated by FixedFloat. The official site is ff.io.
- Honesty about the bad parts. We cover risks, complaints and incidents — including the 2024 FixedFloat breach — because a guide that only lists positives isn't a guide, it's an advert.
- Attribution. When we cite figures (fees, coins, limits, policies), we attribute them to the official source and remind you to verify, because these change.
- Transparency on money. Some outbound links, including our CTAs to CEX.IO, are affiliate links marked
nofollow. If you use them we may earn a commission at no cost to you. That funds the site; it never changes our verdicts. - No financial advice. We explain mechanics and risks. What you do with your money is your decision.
How we make money
Affiliate commissions from clearly-marked partner links. We don't sell your data, we don't run deceptive "bonus" funnels, and we don't take payment to hide a platform's flaws.
Corrections
Crypto moves fast and we can be wrong or out of date. If you spot an error, email info@fixed-float.exchange and we'll review it. Accuracy matters more to us than being right.
